TBI catches Watson

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has confirmed that James Edward Watson, age 46, one of TBI’s Most Wanted Fugitives, has been captured in Orlando, Florida. Members of the Orlando Police Department arrested Watson on Wednesday night July 17, 2002. He is currently being held in the Orange County jail in Orlando, Florida.
Watson was wanted for Rape and Aggravated Kidnapping in Hickman County, Tennessee. He was added to the TBI Most Wanted program on June 7, 2002, and becomes the 110th fugitive apprehended since the program’s inception. These fugitives have been apprehended in 24 states and in the Province of Ontario in Canada.
