This online reader views the information as to the Board of Commissioners quite informative as much of the information on the website
www.seviercountytn.org is not current - although there appears to be many services available online to the public. Your efforts, hopefully, will encourage more citizens to take a greater interest in the affairs of the Board of Commission and as conducted by their elected district representatives for and on their behalf. I believe some coverage on the vital role a Notary Public plays in our legal processes would be beneficial and informative as I understand there is a handbook for such Notaries which should be required reading by each applicant before approval by the Commission and Commissioning by the State. I am concerned
about information read in a recent publication regarding the existence of improperly
notarized document(s) which comprise a part of our public records. This should be brought to an absolute halt
and any offending Notary, if proven, should be prosecuted to the extent of the law. I also read by one commenting to a letter to The Editor a specific Deed Book and page referenced where a specific document such as this is of record in the Register's Office. I hope someone checks this out and further reporting is done on that subject.
