september book club meetings

Become involved with a book club sponsored by the Sevier County Public Library System this year.
The SCPLS King Family Library Fireside Book Club enjoys contemporary, eclectic books.
The SCPLS Inspirational Reading Club focuses on an inspirational author and his or her works each month instead of a specific book.
The SCPLS Kodak Branch Literary Novels Book Club discusses previous and more recent classics.
Each club holds a monthly meeting and the September meeting dates, authors and books are as follows:
September 10 at 10 a.m. - SCPLS King Family Library Fireside Book Club will discuss Lisa See’s book “Peony in Love.” The club will meet at SCPLS King Family Library at 408 High Street in Sevierville. Please call Virginia Borelli at (865)365-1666 for more information.
September 8 at 1 p.m. – SCPLS Seymour Branch Inspirational Reading Club – The monthly meeting features the author, B. J. Hoff and her books. The club meets at the Seymour Branch Library at 137 West Macon Lane in Seymour. Please call Janet Persichetti at (865)573-0728 for further information about the club.
September 24 at 5 p.m. (new time) – SCPLS Kodak Branch Literary Novels Book Club meeting will feature Harry Bernstein’s “The Invisible Wall: A Love Story that Broke Barriers.” The club meets at the Kodak Branch Library at 319 West Dumplin Valley Road in Kodak.
