The Alumni Day component of the Festival invites graduates and former students, as well as former employees, back to the campus for reunions starting at 9:00 a.m. Lunch is scheduled at 11:00 a.m. and a special program for alumni will follow in Ashe Cafeteria at noon. Alumni who have served in Christian ministry of any kind will be acknowledged, with special recognition of the members of the Class of 1958 on the occasion of their 50th reunion. Alumni are encouraged to bring the entire family and stay for the carnival in the afternoon
The carnival, located in the Stokely Gymnasium/ Huskey Field athletic complex from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. will feature something for everyone. Venues and booths include Carnival Games, Euro Bungee, Rock Climbing Wall, Super Slide, Moonwalks, Inflatable Joust, Dunking Tank, Kiddie Carousel, Face Painting by Katmandu, Food, Ice Cream, Homemade Desserts and much more. Themed baskets of every shape, size, and colorful contents will be offered in the Silent Auction.
The public is invited to attend all festivities. The King’s Academy, a division of historic Harrison Chilhowee Baptist Academy, is located in Seymour, one mile from Chapman Highway on Boyd’s Creek Highway.
