C.R.O.S.S. food pantry needs for January: cereals—hot and cold, canned meats/tuna, ramen noodles, dry soup mixes. Other non-perishable food and donations are also welcome.

Announces new service times. Our regularly scheduled weekend services will be changed to Sundays @ 11:00 AM and Wednesday evenings @ 7:00 PM. Saturday evening services will no longer be scheduled except for special services. We would like to invite all of the area community to visit us on these new service times. Wednesday evenings we are currently doing a series of study on the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. If you would like to know what the Word has to say about this controversial topic, please join us as we equip our minds with His Truth. Happenings
The good Lord didn’t promise that we’d not have difficult times – He DID promise to help us through those trials and tribulations.
If you’re seeking God’s comfort and guidance, please come and join us for our Sunday worship services, held at 8:15 & 11:00 AM (Traditional), with a 9:30 AM Contemporary Praise worship service.
Sunday school classes are held at both 9:30 AM & 11:00 AM. The youth group meets each Sunday evening at 6:00 PM.
We also have worship on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM, following our regular fellowship meal.
If you missed the 1st G.R.O.W. training meetings, another is set for Jan. 31st at 7:00 PM in the church’s Fellowship Hall. Contact Assoc. Pastor Jason Roe for further information or simply plan to attend.
The youth’s summer mission trip is planned for July 1st -7th. This year’s trip will be to Nashville, TN. A parent’s meeting is scheduled for Sunday, Feb 19th at 6:00 PM. If you already know you are going, a $25 deposit is required to reserve your spot. Space is limited, so 1st come, 1st served. Contact Youth Dir. Darren Kitts for details.
Please continue to support C.R.O.S.S. (Christians Reaching Out Serving Seymour). This urgent ministry serves many needy and desperate local area families. Volunteers are always needed. See Carolyn Greene or Judy McCann, our representatives, if you want to find out more about C.R.O.S.S.

YOUNG AT HEART.......... met on Thursday, January 19th for a “Movie Theatre” and popcorn. Homemade soup and cornbread was enjoyed before the movie.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY------- will meet on Friday, January 27th at 7:00PM in the Youth Room for our annual “Pajama Party”. Prizes will be given for the prettiest and funniest PJ’s. There will also be drawing for Secret Pals for the coming year. For more information, call Brenda Fannon at 579-0579.
