Saint Paul Church
OUTREACH
Citizens Reaching Out Serving Seymour is a church supported, social welfare agency which provides needy persons with food and assistance with utilities and rent payments. It is supported by 16 local churches, among which is St. Paul Church. We will continue to contribute food items that they require. A list of needed food items includes canned meats and hot/cold cereals. You can bring them to the church and we will take them over to C.R.O.S.S. periodically.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
The church is holding a series of programs each Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. at St, Paul Church, 1028 Boyd’s Creek Hwy., Seymour that will provide information about what Episcopalians (Anglicans) believe. They will obtain information about these beliefs from a little booklet entitled “What Anglicans Believe” and there will be a group discussion of the major points of each chapter in the context of today’s life style. If you are a member of any denomination or are un-churched, they would like to hear your point of view.
Chapters they will consider are: We believe in God, The Father, We believe in Jesus, His Son our Lord, We believe in the Holy Spirit, We believe in love, We believe in forgiveness, We believe in freedom, We believe in listening, We belong to the Church, We inherit history, We are Anglicans, We take part in the Holy Communion, We turn to the future.
Go to www.stpaulepiscopalchurch.org for more information.
The study group begins with coffee and fellowship at 9:45 a.m. every Sunday morning. For more information, call the church office at 865-680-5489.
