Foothills Mall for the second year in a row will host the “A Team” program during the 2004-2005 school year for all Blount County, Sevier County, Alcoa and Maryville City schools. The program encourages academic excellence by rewarding good grades. Any student grades Kindergarten through 12th grade may join the “A Team” for free by registering at the Foothills Mall Customer Service Center open Mall hours; Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday 12:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. The student will immediately receive a membership card that they bring with every report card to Customer Service. Each “A” listed that grading period gives you one entry for that month’s drawing. “A Team” is a new program sponsored by Coke exclusively at CBL malls nation wide to encourage children to excel in their studies. Last year, Foothills Mall “A Team” members were invited to special events and be included in several special discount programs with participating mall stores. Monthly, a winner is selected by random drawing. The student will receive $50 in Foothills Mall gift certificates and the student’s school will also receive $50 in Foothills Mall gift certificates. Foothills Mall is an enclosed regional mall located in Maryville. The mall offers many great stores including Goody’s, JC Penney, Proffitt’s, Sears, with over 60 specialty stores such as Bath & Body Works, Footlocker, Kay Bee Toys and American Eagle Outfitters. As an added bonus for Club Herald readers for each person that signs up to join the “A Team” that person will get a FREE pass to the Tennessee State Fair!
