Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies rings in the New Year

Great fun planned for the 4th year Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies will ring in the New Year with the 4th Annual Dance with the Sharks New Year’s Eve Party. “This is a fabulous party in one of the most unique settings in the world. You can dance, eat, and party throughout the entire Aquarium until 1 a.m. You also watch the incredible Gatlinburg fireworks show at midnight from our vantage on the Aquarium Plaza” said Karl Thomas, director of sales and marketing for Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. Dance with the Sharks New Year’s Eve Party includes dancing on two levels to an energetic eight-piece band, dancing in a third area to a DJ, heavy hors d’oeuvres all evening and a champagne toast at midnight. All your favorite beverages will be available at cash bars located throughout the aquarium. The price is $99.95 plus tax per couple and $59.95 for singles. A fun-filled and interactive children’s program is available for ages 3 to 12 for $24.95. Reservations are required and space is limited for the children’s program. The aquarium is located at traffic light #5 on the Parkway in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and is open 365 days a year.
