Seymour residents fall in line for dancing

Every Monday night Total Kaos, an area teen dance club, opens its’ doors to everyone. It seems a local line-dancing group approached club owners, Sharma Floyd and Anthony Lambert, about having their classes in the club, located in the Seymour Business Park at 500 Maryville Hwy. The line-dancing class used to meet at the Triple C Market near Newport on 441. However, many of the class members lived in Seymour and Maryville. When Total Kaos opened it became the ideal location for the dance class. Total Koas has become a popular nightspot for area teens on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Floyd and Lambert saw the line-dancing class as an opportunity to utilize the space for other area residents. They were more than happy to welcome the line-dancing group. “They’re all very nice people and we’re happy that we can help them out by keeping their class closer to their homes’,” said Lambert. The line-dancing class meets Monday nights at 7 p.m. in the Seymour Business Park. All ages are invited to attend (children must be accompanied by an adult). The cost is only $5 per person for the entire evening and includes the dance lessons. If you have any questions about reserving Total Kaos for a private function, including birthdays or receptions, you can contact Sharma Floyd at 865-573-8929.
