being politically correct is wrong

I think all you have to do to be a decent human being, a decent neighbor, officer, banker, preacher, lawyer, employer, employee, plumber, electrician, friend, teacher, father, mother brother, sister, or even a politician, is follow the simple golden rule.
President Kennedy in 1963 appealed to the golden rule. The golden rule is endorsed by all the great world religions; Jesus, Hillel, and Confucius used it to summarize their ethical teachings.
The golden rule is best interpreted as saying: "Treat others only as you consent to being treated in the same situation."
What’s the problem with that, in my opinion, the addition of more rules.
There are too many rules. Rules that have even more rules. So everyone is confused and afraid of taking any sort of action to correct an injustice because they stand the risk of ridicule or a lawsuit – so people stand aside while those in power increase their take.
Someone sent me to a website that really made me proud to know that this type of person still stands in America.
