Then the regular beat of the school buses stopping at all of their locations to pick up the kids and take them to their futures without any incidents.
The regular beat of all the parents that driver their kids to school and fight the ever growing traffic congestion.
The beat of the school bells ringing the changes ahead.
And so the beat goes on.
This year's school year started like most years. A little organized, a little confused, a little mixed up. But it's the journey that counts.
Even the kids know that the first week is going to be different than the rest of the year.
It's the week that things will get into a grove.
Everyone will learn their classes, their teachers, their times and even their new id numbers for lunches.
It's a week of organizing.
Then the real school starts.
With xx new teachers and xx new students and a total of xx students attending the five Seymour Public Schools, it's not an easy understanding, but it's one that the staff has to be up to meet the challenge.
It's so important that the teachers that form a part of the minds of our children do it with great care and consideration.
Our children desire the very best they can get.
I think it is imperative the teachers and faculty perform at a level where they hold the children's attention. In that way the children will want to learn and do their home work.
Whereas a teacher that just force feeds the instruction, will not get the same desired results.
I commend the school director, his staff and the school system for performing to the point where they have achieved a reputation of having a great school district.
I have received so many comments from parents regarding their concern over some teachers and principles that it concerns me.
However, that reputation can quickly deteriorate if the quality check is not continually maintained. A few sour notes is all it takes to ruin the good beat. The good beat must go on.
