sale exceeds expectations

Seymour Heights Christian Church and C.R.O.S.S. recently merged their annual rummage sale to create one of the largest, most organized church sales in the area.
C.R.O.S.S. has struggled nearly every year in the past to have a successful rummage sale.
It was previously held outdoors at C.R.O.S.S. and weather generally did not cooperate. Some years it even had to be cancelled all together.
This year, Seymour Heights Christian Church opened their community sale to include C.R.O.S.S.
The merger not only increased the amount of donations, but it also increased the volunteer staff.
Even though prices were marked low in an effort to accommodate the community, nearly $8,000 was raised.
Fifty percent of the proceeds will be distributed to C.R.O.S.S. to be put back into the community.
Sale organizers would like to thank those in the community who were available and chose to help with their mission.
