taylor wins chamber friendship award

Sevierville – Brett Taylor of BB&T earned the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Award for December 2008 at the recent Coffee Talk event.

Taylor has been with BB&T for nine years and served as the Financial Center Leader for four years.

“Working with the Chamber has been an energetic, enjoyable experience,” says Taylor. “The Chamber members provide a local environment for businesses to prosper.”

As a thank you for his dedication, Taylor received a plaque courtesy of Sign Master and a $100 gift card to Tony Gore’s courtesy of Richey Insurance.

Chamber Membership Coordinator Jim McGill says, “Brett is very interested in helping our community prosper. He doesn’t just talk the talk, he walks the walk and is at every Chamber function.”

Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Awards are based on points accumulated monthly from attending Chamber functions and volunteering as well as bringing inactive members and potential new members to Chamber events.

Monthly points will go towards determining the Chamber Friend of the Year Award recipient.
