What’s the best way to make money when the real estate market crashes?
By understanding that “all real estate is local, just like politics,” says David Lindahl, owner of The Lindahl Group, a real estate investment company.
“This can be an extremely profitable time to invest, because so many shell-shocked property owners are just trying to dump their real estate and cut their losses. It means that--if you understand market cycles--you can pick up incredible bargains. But you need to be able to read the indicators that are available for everyone to see.
The problem is few investors know what to look for.”
Lindahl, author of Emerging Real Estate Markets: How to Find and Profit from Up-and-Coming Areas (John Wiley and Sons), is currently available to explain why, when other investors are running in the other direction, this just might be the perfect time to invest in income-producing properties.
According to one local real estate developer the commercial market is hottest he’s ever seen it.
“I’m covered up with commercial business,” Barry Shular told the Seymour Herald.
Schular says he’s never had so much interest in commercial property as he has today.
