Going hog wild

Over 80 students for New Center Elementary School toured Buddy’s Bar-B-Q Monday and learned all about the process of slow cooking with real hickory wood, to delivering the finished meal with fast service. They took turns at the drive-thru, and some even volunteered to do the dishes in exchange for ice-cream cones. The students were from Mrs. Payne’s class, Mrs. Dollar’s class, Mrs. Bennecker’s class, Mrs. Strohmer’s class and Mrs. Rule’s class. Over twenty parents also joined the field trip as official taste testers.
