Awesome burgers

The other day I happened to stop in to a little deli located at 854 Middle Creek Rd. at the Foxwood Center. I needed to pick up lunch and since I hadn’t eaten there before I decided to play it safe and order a couple of cheeseburgers. The deli, Michael Beal’s Deli to be exact says, “Why eat fast food when you can eat good food fast?” Well, it was good and it was pretty quick too. When the owner Michael Beal was putting the burger in the to-go boxes I couldn’t help but notice the size of the burgers. They were on a hoagie style bun, which was toasted with butter. They were huge, big enough for two petite eaters to share or a hearty lunch for the big eater. I have to tell you I was impressed enough to stop back by to find out more about this place. Micheal Beal’s Deli has only been open a few months but they have already developed a following. People I spoke with in the close vicinity said they love the food and the prices. The cheeseburger for instance, complete with a side of chips or slaw, was $4.35. Beal says he uses only fresh meat for his burgers, never frozen and that helps add to the great taste. They carry a large selection of foods to choose from, including salads, burgers, specialty sandwiches, soups and stuffed potatoes. If you’re looking for a new place to grab a bite and you’re in the area, check them out. They also serve breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
