Now is the time of year that people start throwing back the curtains, cleaning the closets and thinking about spring-cleaning. It’s also the time of year people get their carpets cleaned. A new business in town, Ultimate Carpet Care, has been busy helping homemakers do just that. Owner Vince Trentham says the benefits of carpet cleaning go much farther than dirt. “Many people have allergies and the process I use does an excellent job of helping asthma and sinus sufferers.” The process offers 30-day control over dust mites, pet dander, pollen, dust and dirt. “I guarantee that people will be happy with my work or there is no charge,” said Trentham. Two different processes can be used depending on the time needed for drying. One process uses no water and is basically ready to walk on after the job is complete. Trentham says the two processes are called “Dry Clean” or “Liquid Clean.” The various services Ultimate Carpet Care offers includes spot stain and pet odor control, Scotchgard protector, with the carpet cleaning. “I’ll clean the whole house no matter what size for $145. But if someone wants just a room or two cleaned, I can do that as well. This is a new business for me. I worked part time at it for a while but I decided to go full time. If I’m going to work hard I thought it should be for my own business. I do work hard and make it a point to make my customers happy,” said Trentham.
