Work continues on the south side of the Henley Street Bridge. (The Herald/ Jamie Stewart Storey)
The ongoing Henley Street Bridge project made some strides this week, according to Tennessee Department of Transportation Officials.
On the south end, the deck steel placement for Span #6 is complete, according to the most recent TDOT update. Deck pour is currently set for the last week in March
On the river, deck panel placement for Span #5 has begun. Pier #5 reconstruction prep work is also being finished. Span #4 caps have been completed. Span #3 column construction and arch repairs continue.
On the north end, Span #1 deck steel placement is nearly complete with deck pour forthcoming.
