It’s not how a team starts but how it finishes and the Seymour Eagle baseball team has started the season in a big way by shutting out the Cherokee chiefs in a District 2-AAA game 10-0 at Cherokee.  The first game was suppose to open at Seymour but was rained out.

The 10-0 rout was dominated on both sides of the ball with strong pitching by senior ace Hunter Neff and strong hitting.

Neff allowed only one hit over six innings while striking out 12 hitters.
