A member of former President George W. Bush’s administration has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for an event hosted by the Sevier County Republican Party.
Peter Brookes, who served in the Bush administration as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Asian and Pacific Affairs will address the local GOP during the 2013 Lincoln Day Dinner April 11.
The event will be held at the Civic Center in Sevierville.
“We are thrilled to have Peter Brookes as our keynote speaker for the Lincoln Day Dinner,” said Sevier County Republican Chairman Devin Koester. “An accomplished speaker and prolific author, Mr. Brookes is sure to be both an engaging and entertaining keynote speaker.”
