The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is launching a new program designed to keep children out of trouble. It’s called “Project: Think Twice” and starts March 21.
Project Think Twice is aimed at children ages 12-17 and their parents or guardians. The purpose is to show how bad decisions could eventually lead to jail.
This is a one of a kind program developed by the staff of the Special Services Division after numerous calls from parents about what to do with teens headed in the wrong direction.
The program is limited to 15 teens and their parents.
