Sponsored by two East TN soccer clubs, Blount United and Knoxville Football club, The Lakeway Chives defended their record this week.
The team played at the Vulcan Fields in Maryville against Soccer Club of Oak Ridge first and won 2-1.
Additionally, The Lakeway Chives played the Knoxville Football Club Arsenal U14 boys and won 3-0, and the CSC 99 boy’s gold out of KY and tied 1-1 to win the tournament with the best overall record.
This enabled them to defend their tournament champion title from last year.
