Local Woman’s Scholarship Sets Deadline

The Sevier County Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association has announced the local chapter will award one $1,000 scholarship to a local Sevier County female student who is pursuing higher education in 2013-2014.

The Impact scholarship will be in the amount of $1,000 for a female student residing in Sevier County.

In the 2011-20102 academic year, Hannah Sims of Seymour was the recipient of the scholarship. Sims, a Senior at King University, will graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration this year.

Created in 1953, The Stephen Bufton Educational Fund, was established through American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) to assist women with achieving success through higher education.
