After finishing third in District 2-AAA last year and going 23 and 11, the Seymour Eagle Baseball Team is looking for much bigger results this season.

However, it will be hard to replace last year’s stars in Ben Whisler (all-state), Logan Jenkins (LMU signee), Tyler Crawford (Austin Peay signee) and Logan Seagle.

“We’re anxious to get started,” said Seymour Head Baseball Coach Scott Norman.  “We can compete with any team in this league (IMAC).  Our program is getting better, but the IMAC gets tougher each year also.  There are eight collegiate level pitchers in the IMAC this year.  It’s going to be tough.”
