The dual competition is over for the season but individual competition is going strong as the Eagles place fourth in the region out of 22 teams.  That is up from an eighth place finish last year.

Six Seymour wrestlers qualified for the state individual competition.  They were Willie Stooksbury (138 lbs), Jacob Loveday (182 lbs), Chris Poore (106 lbs), Dillon Baldwin (220 lobs), Drew Cannon (285 lbs0 and Ethan Joyce (126 lbs).

“We did well finishing fourth,” said Seymour wrestling Coach Alex Cate.  “The matches we lost were close.”
