Clifton Family Racing Tradition Continues at 411 Motor Speedway

The Clifton family of Seymour continues their three decades of racing as 16 year-old-son, Layne and 13 year-old daughter, Allie, gear up for the racing season at 411 Motor Speedway.

Doug Clifton drag raced briefly in the early 1980′s at 411 Dragstrip, but always wanted to race round track and never had the opportunity. He started his son Layne racing at the age of 6 in go-karts.

Since then, Layne has raced and won several series in the past 10 years and has progressed to the Limited Late Model division at age 15.
