Recently Seymour and Sevier County High Schools led the way in this year’s annual Eastern Region Senior Finals Public Speaking Contest held at the University of Tennessee.
“Our high school aged Honor Group did extremely well this month as Seymour High’s Cheyenne Nieman placed second overall,” said Extension Director Glenn Turner. “Sevier County High students Rachel Jenkins, Jenny Patel and Alexis Hall also placed in the event,”
4-H Honor Club is geared toward high school students as they participate in advanced leadership projects, books, and portfolios. The club also has numerous programs for elementary aged students such as summer camp and volunteer projects.
