Experience Paves Way for Award: Teachers Honored for 2012 Accomplishments

Adding to the list of Seymour teachers who have been recognized as Teachers of the Year is Seymour High School.

This week Seymour High School Principal Kristy Wallen announced the two teachers of the year for the community’s highest public education level are Joyce McFall and Charlie Householder.

With nearly forty years of combined experience, both receipts were humbled to be chosen.

“It is a humbling experience to be recognized by your peers,” Householder said. “I have the greatest respect and admiration for the faculty here at SHS. They do a wonderful job with our students, I am proud to be associated with them.”
