Average retail gasoline prices in Knoxville and Seymour area have risen 12.4 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.28 per gallon of Feb. 4, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 418 gas outlets in Knoxville.

This compares with the national average that has increased 14.4 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.48 per gallon.

The lowest price per gallon of gas in Seymour is a six-way tie between Pilot, Kroger, Gas N’ Go, Weigel’s, and Shell, according to the Website’s most recent data.

Including the change in gas prices in Knoxville during the past week, prices yesterday were 10 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 10.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
