The Kings Academy Middle School Girls Basketball Team continued to shine Saturday as they claimed the Private School-Large division championship with a 26-17 victory over the Episcopal School of Knoxville.

The teams, which had split the regular season series and shared the conference title, faced off at Berean Christian School.

Kings Academy, who lost just one game during the season, got to the championship game by defeating Sacred Heart Catholic School 28-10.

Eighth grader Callie Green got the Lady Lions off to a quick start with her hot shooting.  She staked the team to a 6-0 before ESK could get off their first shot.
