Winterizing your vehicle is important due to extreme cold conditions and safety during winter months. Being proactive in basic routine auto care can also save money by preventing more expensive repairs.
“Everyone should keep an eye on all fluid levels, check air pressure in the tires, keep up with oil changing schedule, and check all lights to ensure proper visibility especially in inclement weather,” explained Seymour Tire and Auto Owner Darrell Carter.
AAA Travel experts suggest a winter safety kit to keep in vehicles in case of a breakdown during extremely cold temperatures. Many times even major roadways are closed due to inclement weather conditions leaving motorists stranded for long periods of time.
