After losing seven games in a row, many by a narrow margin, the Seymour Eagle basketball team has put together a two game win streak in the IMAC by beating South-Doyle and Cocke County.

Being an Eagles fan is not recommended for the weak at heart as with the losses, the wins were by very narrow margins also.

The Eagles (15-11, 5-9 District 2-AAA) had lost to Morristown West (8-12, 3-7) at Seymour 52-46 and Sevier County (21-3, 10-2) 57-54 in a nail biter and a game that saw a total of 44 fouls.  The Eagles and the Bears game was filled with the usual cross county rival atmosphere.
