As a growing fast food society it can often be difficult to tell just what is involved nearly every marketed edible good, but a nearby natural farm is hoping to change the trend.

“The problem with the generically raised beef is not so much the additives but rather all the diseases the cattle are subject to as a result of living in an unnatural, closed-in environment,” explained Bill Snow, owner of Snow’s Farm. “The additives, such as antibiotics, become necessary as a consequence of these diseases. By contrast, our animals are free-ranging and grass-fed, which makes them much less susceptible to health problems.”

Snow, who operates a 34-acre ranch in Vonore, said consumers can be subject to becoming ill by eating meat from unnaturally raised livestock.
