Friends of the Sevier County Libraries will be assisting area churches by donating books from their excess donation inventory.

The free books ranging in topics from Religion, angels, Bibles, self-help, motivational, adoption, parenting, relationships, grief, and other inspirational titles will be available to church officials.

The book giveaway will be held in the Burchfield Room first floor of the King Family Library (Sevierville Branch Library) located at 408 High St. from noon until 5 p.m.  Feb. 8 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  with no dealers allowed.

“This giveaway represents an excellent opportunity for local churches to add to or begin their own library collections,” said Dwight Shepherd, coordinator of used book sales for the Friends.
