Adding to the polar opposite beliefs of those who support and oppose the local Visioning Process Our Smokies, Our Future, if the claim of the opposition rings true the county could face a grim future.

While supporters have continually denied any reality to the claim that OSOF is linked to the United Nations, opponents point to a history of Agenda 21 itself.

Created in 1992, Agenda 21 was the major outcome of the United Nations Earth Summit which emphasized a contract to bind the world’s governments to control the way humans work, eat, sleep, and travel through a series of slow and steady local programs.
