Sevier County songbird Miss Dolly turned 67 years old Saturday, and the well-wishes were many. Her record label’s website, Dolly Parton Music.net, encouraged fans to make online birthday cards using their own photos and audio through the Internet service Webdoc, and the effort garnered hundreds of well-wishes.

Online newsmagazine The Huffington Post dedicated two photo galleries to her special day: one focusing on her best quotes and one tracking her style from the 1970s through today.

Even singer Carrie Underwood tweeted her congratulations to the star, saying: “Happy birthday to the beautiful and talented @Dolly_Parton! May your day be filled with laughter and may your birthday wishes come true!”Lulu Romans’ new CD, “At Last,” a covers albums of standards, hit stores last week featuring a duet with Dolly Parton on her classic “I Will Always Love You,” and Dolly praised the set prior to its release.

“I have known and loved Lulu since the days of ‘Hee Haw,’” she said in a statement. “I have always known she was a great singer; but I did not know how great until she did this album. Hearing her sing my song ‘I Will Always Love You’ gave me the chills. And being able to sing with her on it really got the goose bumps going. I am so proud of her. Hope you enjoy our version of the song.”
