Although many residents would see it strange for a local restaurant such as Willie’s to make improvements after just recently opening its doors of a new location and continuing a legacy of success, some adjustments were made during the past weekend.

Thanks to the quick work of local businesses such as ACME Installers, Lloyd’s Electric Service, and Shular Enterprises, a new grease grate was installed in to help protect the sewer line.

“Nobody ever did that volume of business at that location,” explained ACME Installers owner Randy Porterfield. “It was approved by the city of Sevierville Monday.”

Porterfield said they had to have three fill lines to support the volume of the new Willie’s location in the old Jackflap’s building.
