As the 2012 tax season approaches many coming changes are leaving tax preparation specialists with plenty of explaining to relate to their customers.

Genia Popplewell, owner of Done Write Tax Service, said one of the main changes coming will hit the higher earners the most significantly.

“With the Bush tax cuts married couples making $750,000 were in the highest tax bracket, now that has been moved to $45,000,” she said. “It is a less graduate bracket than it was last year.”

Another change is now taxes are not allowed to be filed before Jan. 30, although they are allowed to be prepared beforehand.
