The game was all it was built up to be; a full house, loud and very exciting.

The lead exchanged hands several times and never spread to a large margin as the Seymour Lady Eagles (13-8, district 6-2), hosted the Sevier county Bearettes in a top billed District 2-AAA thriller.

In the end the Bearettes (9-11, district 4-4) came out on top in an upset 39-38 as Seymour’s Lexi Justus missed a long desperation shot at the buzzer to win the game for the Lady Eagles.
