The Knoxville Police Department are currently searching for a suspect who robbed a South Knoxville store by knife-point Jan. 8

The armed robber was reported to have entered the 4219 Chapman Hwy. Dollar General Store just before 9 p.m.

It was then stated the suspect took the stolen cash from the register and fled on foot in the direction of  E. Moody Ave.

The amount of money stolen has not been disclosed.
