The Seymour Eagle wrestling team completed the first leg to a District 2-AAA IMAC championship by winning the IMAC tournament held at Seymour High School last week.

To achieve their championship goal, they will need to defeat Sevier County and South-Doyle in the second half of the tournament.

The IMAC tournament at Seymour included wins for the Eagles over Morristown East 54-27, Morristown West 57-17, Cocke County 58-24 and finally a thriller over Jefferson County 39-38.
