A New Haven Indiana man is behind bars and has been charged with Second Degree Murder for stabbing his girlfriend multiple times at a Gatlinburg motel.

The Gatlinburg Police Department officers responded to the emergency call at the Hillside Motel Apartments Thursday at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Responding officers stated they found the 22 year-old victim Amber L. Leslie with multiple stab wounds upon arriving at the scene.

She was transported by helicopter to UT Medical Center and is currently in critical condition due to wounds inflicted durring  the vicious attack.
