Authorities report one person was killed and another was taken to UT Medical Center due to an early morning head-on collision.

The accident occurred at 6 a.m. this morning on Delrose Drive near Riverside Drive within the Marble Hill area of South Knoxville.

Knoxville Police have shut down the 3000 block of Delrose Drive for further investigation of the early morning fatal crash.
