Aaron Miller of Boyd’s Creek Church of God receives check to feed hungry families.
Food City located on Chapman Hwy in Seymour donated five checks to Seymour charitable organizations to help fight hunger locally.
“Food City has this fundraiser each year which begins Nov. 1 and ends Dec. 1 by collecting donations from customers, vendors, and the stores contribute as well,” said district manager Steve Trout.
“We have been running this donation drive for almost a decade and we feel it is very important to help our local families in need,” explained store manager, Jason Layman.
This year Food City of Seymour chose Boyd’s Creek Church of God who was represented by Aaron Miller and received a check for $250.
