For its first year under new management, the Seymour Christmas Parade received a fresh and successful boost Dec. 8.
Now headed by the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department as opposed to Marty and Paul Hamilton, droves of residents can out to show their support in a crowd estimated of about 8500.
Additionally, there were about 20 more floats in the parade that the previous year, with a total close to 130.
