After suffering from a fire late November, the Brown family is getting to the point to where they can pick-up the pieces thanks to community members lending a hand.

Although the family’s home was saved thanks to a fast response by the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department, the Brown family lost nearly everything they owned in the blaze.

“I lost all of the baby and family photographs,” said Kathryn Brown. “That’s what hurts me the most.”

Despite the loss of many irreplaceable family items, the fire also took essentials such as clothing, furniture, and school supplies from the family.
