It’s no secret that the United States has a crippling debt problem, but on a local level Sevier County has its share of economic woes.
Currently the Sevier Count Debt is $126,702,000.
As of December the Sevier County Trustee’s Office has collected 94.3 percent of 2011 county income, which amounts to a total of 54,570,316.36.
This equate to an estimated debt to income ratio of about 2 to 1.
