This Christmas give the gift that keeps giving for the whole year, a subscription to the Herald.

As the only community newspaper serving Seymour, the Herald will provide its readers with information that can’t be obtained anywhere else from week to week.

Just looking back at the start of this year some stories covered in the Herald that were neglected by other area newspapers include an in-depth investigation into the Our Smokies, Our Future, an exclusive interview with 2012 Presidential Candidate and Sevier County resident Merlin Miller, as well as County Commission coverage related directly to Seymour.

Additionally, the local emphasis placed on the community will give readers of the Herald insight into zoning issues, accidents, fires, school events and policies, local businesses, wedding announcements, family reunions, road conditions, constructions projects, and many other topics of local focus.
