Local residents continue to prepare as the 19th annual Seymour Christmas Parade rapidly approaches.

Scheduled for Dec. 8 at 4 p.m., the parade will begin at Valley Grove Baptist Church and will head east following the southbound lanes of Chapman Hwy., where it ends in the Seymour Kroger parking lot.

Residents will be able to watch the parade at any point along the south side of Chapman Hwy. as many local floats and other holiday attractions will move throughout the community.

Joining the slew of festivities will be Seymour’s only community newspaper, the Herald.
