In what was one of the most exciting basketball games to ever be played at Seymour High School as, the Eagles dropped a triple overtime decision to cross highway rival South-Doyle 91-90.

The gym was packed, loud and electric.  The Eagle pep band was loud, both student sections were wild.  The atmosphere was what high school basketball games should be all about.

In the end, the Seymour Eagles came up 1 point and .4 seconds short.  It was an absolute heartbreaker for the EAgles (4-3, 0-1 District 2-AAA) losing not only to their biggest rivals but also it was the first district game of the season.
